About Us

Alpine Smiles is a cosmetic and family dentistry practice in Flagstaff, AZ with over 25 years of experience! We offer a wide range of dental services and the latest technology, including BOTOX & FILLER, to help you achieve your best smile. Our office is designed to be soothing, with an emphasis on excellent customer service. We are dedicated to making YOU feel confident.

Meet the doctors

Dr. Joedi Pasut

Dr. Joedi has over 25 years of dental experience. She was raised in Northeastern Iowa. She earned an undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and went on to dental school at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. After receiving her doctorate in dental surgery, she continued her training and received a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. This advanced education was completed at the University of Michigan College of Dentistry. Since graduating in 1996, she has attended hundreds of hours of post-graduate continuing education courses and cosmetic training seminars. She spends a lot of time researching new materials and technologies and insists on using the best materials to achieve results that look natural, beautiful and long-lasting.

She notes “I cherish the long-lasting relationships I have built with my patients. I enjoy getting to know my patients and all of their dental needs from the first checkup of two-year-old teeth to fillings and regular cleaning visits for everyone. I feel like our patients are friends and family, whether they be toddlers, teenagers, or grown adults... It is very important to me to treat each patient with unsurpassed customer service that the patient cannot help but tell someone else. I pride myself and my dental team's ability to deliver professional care using advanced technology. I want to change how people feel about going to the dentist. My patients often express that they forget they are in a dental office. In fact, they enjoy their visits with us.”

Dr. Pasut enjoys spending her free time with her adult twin daughters, hiking, traveling and relaxing at home with a good Netflix series.

Dr. Mallory Nyenhuis

Dr. Mallory has nearly 16 years of dental experience. She grew up in Gibbsville, Wisconsin, and attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Steven Point, where she majored in Biochemistry. From there, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After that, she completed a residency program at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center in Long Beach, California, where she gained extensive advanced surgical experience. She practiced dentistry in South Carolina for several years before relocating to Arizona in June 2022. Dr. Mallory makes every effort to stay on top of current developments in the dental field by attending multiple continuing education courses each month.

Outside of the office, she and her husband enjoy exploring the outdoors with their many fur babies, trying new restaurants, and watching football. Go Pack go!
